Baking cookies with Grandma

My mom loves to bake cookies. She is known for her cookies. Not just Christmas cookies, cookies all year. We even baked cookies at the beach:

And cinnamon roll:

But the Christmas cookies are special. She makes a bunch of different kinds and they are all delicious. Last week she came over to make cookies with us at our house. Nicholas couldn't wait, he wanted to make gingerbread cookies.

Both Megan and Nicholas made lots and lots of gingerbread men. Nicholas loved rolling it out. Megan carefully placed the cookie cutters to get the most cookies from one rolling.












We made a mess!!











We had a lot of fun. Nicholas was pretty much done after the gingerbread, but Megan helped us do Russian teacakes, thumbprints, peanut butter balls, cut out cookies, shortbread, and candy cane cookies.

It was exhausting.
