Saturday night softball

Am I crazy? Some may say yes. After working Saturday morning and then attending Riley's birthday bash, Nicholas and I decided it would be worth it to drive up to Pigeon Forge for Megan's 9:30 pm softball game. It turns out I was only the 3rd- or 4th-most-crazy parent on our team (and we didn't even poll any other teams!) Another parent had driven up from Knoxville for the one game, one dad had come from Loudon where his son had played baseball all day, and the number one crazy mom had brought one of our players from Chattanooga where she had competed in a karate meet for most of the day!

At least I'm not alone, here are all the crazy people who have spent the entire day at the ball park.

And of course, the chief crazy of us all, Head Coach Rick, looking contemplative as he call pitches during the game.

Really, it's not a cult. Ok, it has some cult-like qualities, but we can get out at any time. Really. Except what am I going to do with a closet full of clothes that say "Thunder"?
