Witch-in-training

Anyone who knows our family knows that we LOVE the Harry Potter books. LOVE them. Some might say obsessed. Megan has read the books so many times we have lost count, David and I have both read the series more than once, and David is now on the 6th book reading aloud to Nicholas.

So it's not surprising, really, that my niece, Riley, who spends one day a week at my house, is a budding Hogwarts student as well. She found a magic wand in our basement one day and waved it masterfully from the get-go. Here, she is practicing her spells (not really, of course, as underage witches aren't allowed to practice witchcraft outside of Hogwarts). Do you see the concentration on her face?
